An enthusiastic bassoonist. Acquired a love for music in his adolescent years, first for rock music and then through many years of participation in a choir, among other groups in Les Pastoureaux (tours in the US, Canada, Japan, Poland, Italy, Switzerland, Germany and France). As a bassoonist, has been a member of the Nivelles, ULB and OSJB (Brussels Youth Symphony Orchestra) symphony orchestras and the Bruocsella Symphonic Orchestra. Also participated in the orchestra which accompanied the international clarinet competition in San Lucar de Barrameda (Spain) between 1991 and 1995. Is an avid chamber musician (4 years in academies and 10 years on the bassoon). Has played bassoon for the BPO since its creation.

Is responsible for the recruitment of musicians in the wind section.
