Proposal for a collaboration
Dear Sir / Madam,
The Brussels Philharmonic Orchestra has the pleasure to present you with its 2010-2011 season with the view to a possible cooperation arrangement.
Please find attached the programmes for our 2010-2011 season for concerts that you would be able to host at your premises or any other venue of your choice for a specific event at preferential tariffs.
The Brussels Philharmonic Orchestra was set up with the aim of providing a sphere in which young, talented, recent conservatoire graduates could blossom both artistically and culturally. The orchestra also serves as a platform for the presentation of young soloists and the promotion of Belgian composers.
The BPO, based permanently at the Théâtre Saint-Michel in Brussels, has constructed its own recognised artistic identity within the Belgian music scene as well as abroad; a subtle combination of Quality, Tradition and Conviviality.
On numerous occasions the orchestra has performed at prestigious events such as the annual “Cocérome” concert in celebration of the Rome Treaty, annual concerts for the International Children's Rights Day, the COFENA concerts at Antwerp and the annual orchestral conducting competition organised by the Royal Brussels Convervatoire.
The ensemble performs regularly with internationally-renowned soloists at venues such as the Palais des Beaux-Arts and Royal Brussels Conservatoire, the Queen Elizabeth Concert Hall in Antwep, the Bruges Concert Hall, the Kursaal at Ostend, the Nouveau Siècle auditorium in Lille and the Palais des Congrès in Paris.
We believe the quality of our extremely varied orchestral programmes would really benefit your events and would reinforce your powers of communication.
